| The project is aimed at providing support for the implementation of the UNECE Education for Sustainable Development Strategy and to reach the sub-objective 6.3. of the EECCA Strategy on environmental education. It envisages implementation of national assessments to priorities educational needs and technical assistance, including development of a relevant network, directories, trainings, guidelines and strategy. It will also support the development of teaching materials on environmental and ecological matters (‘green packs’).

| There are established 3 monitoring points in Chisinau (Budesti, Singera and Ciocana), but this is not sufficient in order to have an overall information about the state of all small streams and rivers around the capital. The importance given to the small streams is very insignificant. |
