Project background
On March 31, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Moldova the National Day of Planting Trees will take place. The two month activities for planting trees and cleaning of the territory (waste collection, territorial development) officially started on March 15 and will end on May 15.
Goals and Objectives
Planting trees will embellish the city, will enrich the air with oxygen.
Activities
- Selection of a territory/object to be planted
- Organization of the process
- Purchasing and planting of necessary equipment and trees
- Supervision of the planted tress during first two month
- Informational support for the planting campaign
Target
The territory/object for plantation could be a secondary school or boarding school in Chisinau, a village close to Chisinau (central part of the village or degrading land (erosion, land slides etc), other selected territory.
Estimated Budget
The total cost will depend on the number and species of planted trees (15-150 MDL per unit), quantity of necessary tools and other related events. Transportation costs will be calculated in dependence of the object selected. |
