Goals and objectives
Enabling the improved water governance at local level by promoting the implementation of integrated water resources management and by establishing partnerships among the environmental stakeholders within the Chisinau Municipality.
Activities
- Organizing workshops on integrated water management
- Elaboration of a manual on integrate water resources management for the public
- Evaluation of the current state of water bodies and main pollution sources (according to the EU Water Framework Directive)
- Promotion of public participation in water resources management etc.
Target groups
- Municipal authorities (i.e. councils, water and sanitation services, centers of preventive medicine, sections of ecological control, cadastral services etc.)
- Mayoralties
- Environmental NGOs.
