Project Background
The hospital provides specialized medical services to 831000 children aged between 0-18 from the whole country. The importance of the project emerges from the fact that although the level of professionalism of the medical staff is high, the insufficient conditions and the lack of medical equipment endanger the quality of the medical assistance.
Activities
- Partial reparation of the surgical ward roof.
- Restore and make function the ventilation system and air conditioning in the surgical ward.
- Restoration of the worm water supply system in the surgical and otorinolaringological wards.
- Change a section of the sewerage system (horizontal section) in the basement of the surgical ward.
Target group
- From 831000 of children from RM, annual 19800 of pacients benefit from specialized stationary and out-patients department medical asistance; 35% or 7000 of children benefit from qualified emergency medical asistance.
- 380 of employees (69 doctors, 235 medical asistants and 110 non-medical and technical personnel)
The 6 Departments of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Nicolae Testimiţanu” in the preparation of the medical workers (students, probationers, trainees).
- National College of Medicine in the qualified preparation of medical asistants.
- All the benefits gained through this project will contribute to the diminuation of morbidity, invalidity and mortality of the children from RM.
